Replaces the OEM Yuasa ytx9-bs or ytx10s, this allows for installation with out any modification to the battery tray (best 8cell option). 8 cell batteries are best suited for most ATV and motorcycle applications. Available with either standard posts or quick disconnect terminal.

  • Under normal use the battery should never have to be put on a charger. The battery should be removed from the bike for winterization using the supplied quick disconnects.

  • Here is a video of the performance of a 4 cell unit (the bike is fine, just shows how much in a desperate situation the battery can crank) this is NOT considered normal usage.

  • Q:  How do you winterize these batteries?
  • A:  Use supplied quick disconnect to remove from the bike and store in a cool dry place, plug it back in when you are ready to ride again, no battery tender needed (nor should be used).

  • Q:  Do these batteries need to be charged when you get them? How long can they sit without losing voltage?
  • A:  Every battery is charged when they are shipped, and can sit for a year and start a bike just fine.

  • Q:  Do these batteries need to be balanced?
  • A:  The battery is self balancing when used with a standard 12v charging system that is in working order.

  • Q:  Can i use this battery with my alarm system?
  • A:  Yes it will work, but the amp hour of the 8 cell is only about half what stock is, so care should be taken to ensure the voltage doesn't fall bellow critical voltage.

  • Q:  Are LiFePo4 batteries safe?
  • A:  LiFePo4 batteries are safe. They are designed to take abuse without serious effects.
